One point I’d
like to clarify:
I’m a
novelist at heart.
My favourite
words are “Chapter One”.
That seems to
be the ideal
place to start.
Don’t
refer to me as “poet”.
I’m still
a novelist inside.
I love to make
up characters.
I own, or have
owned, almost every
“how to
write a novel” guide.
I can formulate
a plot.
I know that
“plot” is not a “theme”.
When my bestseller
hits the stores,
it will finally
be time – you’ll see –
to live my dream.
I start more
books than I finish, true –
but that is
not the point. Right?
I will be famous, one fine day.
Success just
does not happen
overnight.
